Criteria for Evaluation
Start with something easy and new. You should start with something new, like learning a language.
- Choose a project that you can complete in 2-3 months. It doesn’t have to be complex or comprehensive.
- Find sponsors who can help you with your project. Be sure to find a project which can be sponsored.
- Sponsors should understand all the features and benefits your project offers. Transparency is key.
- You should have a good understanding of all the risks and problems associated with your project. It is important to understand the issues and how you can address them.
- A team is required. For your first project, you should have 3-4 members of the team.
- Be careful not to involve team members and departments from other sectors. You are in your own group. Choose a problem to solve and proceed accordingly.
- Select tools such as project charters, process maps, Pareto analyses, etc. Use simple statistics.
- Be sure to check the available time for the activity.
