What is the Army Credentialing Assistance (CA) Program
The Credentialing Assistance program provides financial assistance for voluntary off-duty civilian education programs. CA programs support a soldier’s professional and personal self-development goals. Active-duty officers, warrant officers, enlisted, Army National Guard and reserve can participate in CA. Credentialing Assistance (CA) helps soldiers meet their professional and personal self-development goals. With CA, the Army pays all or a portion of the charges of an educational institution. CA covers credentialing and expenses.
How do I receive ARMY Credentialing Assistance (CA)?
Create an ArmyIgnitED Account at the ArmyIgnitED portal. You will need your CAC (Common Access Card) to access the portal. Contact your Army Education Office if you need assistance. Login.gov is NOT used for this site.

Find the Training City
Go to our “Lean Six Sigma Training and Certification Programs” page. Click on “FIND A COURSE”. Choose the Public Training Location (the training city) that you are interested in attending the Lean Six Sigma training. Click on the City (it will be in BLUE text).
We also offer world class instructor led Live Virtual Training. All our training dates for each of the cities can also be accessed virtually.

Find the Training Dates
Find the Lean Six Sigma Belt level (Green Belt or Black Belt) that you are interested in. Click on “FIND A COURSE”, then locate the Date and Time that best fits your availability for training.
Make note of these dates. These dates will be used when you fill out the Training Quote that our Training Coordinator will send to you (this is explained in the next step).

Get your Quote
Call our Training Coordinator at 866-922-6566 to get your training quote. After you fill out the quote with the “Training Dates”, “Training Location”, and the “Soldiers Name”, you will then upload the quote into the ARMY IGNITED portal (more about this on step #4).

Create CA Request
Once you have your quote completed, log on to the ArmyIgnitED portal and apply for funding. The ArmyIgnitED has provided a PDF with the Credentialing Assistance (or CA) Request submission steps. This PDF will instruct you on how to upload your Training Quote.
CA Requests must be submitted at least 45 days prior to the course start date, but not more than 90 days from the submission date.
